The acoustically transparent basket minimises any chance of back wave colouration or unpleasant resonance which can degrade the sound in traditional 6 X 9 speakers. The tweeter and super-tweeter faceplate is designed to optimise dispersion particularly important for 3-way coaxial speakers to maintain an articulate balanced sound across all frequencies.
